1. Booking and Reservation

1.1 Booking Process

All yacht charter bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. A booking is considered confirmed only after:

• Receipt of the required deposit payment
• Written confirmation from Phuket Boat Charter 48
• Acknowledgment of these Terms & Conditions

1.2 Deposit and Payment

• A deposit of 30-50% of the total charter fee is required to confirm your booking
• The remaining balance must be paid at least 7 days before the charter date
• For bookings made within 7 days of the charter date, full payment is required
• Accepted payment methods: Bank transfer, credit card, PayPal

2. Cancellation Policy

2.1 Cancellation by Guest

• 30+ days before charter: Full refund minus 10% administrative fee
• 15-29 days before charter: 50% refund of total amount
• 7-14 days before charter: 25% refund of total amount
• Less than 7 days: No refund (rescheduling may be possible subject to availability)

2.2 Cancellation by Phuket Boat Charter 48

We reserve the right to cancel a charter due to severe weather conditions, mechanical issues, or safety concerns. In such cases, we will offer:

• Full rescheduling to an alternative date
• An alternative yacht of similar or higher specification
• Full refund if no alternative can be arranged

3. Charter Terms

3.1 Included in Charter

Unless otherwise specified, all charters include:

• Professional captain and crew
• Fuel for standard itineraries
• Basic safety equipment and life jackets
• Basic refreshments (water, soft drinks)
• Snorkeling equipment
• Insurance coverage

3.2 Not Included

• National park entrance fees
• Premium food and alcoholic beverages (available upon request)
• Jet ski and other motorized water sports equipment rental
• Extended itineraries beyond standard routes
• Gratuities for crew (discretionary)

4. Guest Responsibilities

4.1 Safety and Conduct

• Follow all safety instructions from the captain and crew
• Wear life jackets when advised or during water activities
• No illegal substances permitted on board
• Responsible alcohol consumption; the captain may refuse service
• Supervise children at all times

4.2 Damage and Liability

• Guests are responsible for any damage to the yacht or equipment caused by negligence
• A security deposit may be required for certain vessels
• Lost or damaged personal belongings are not the responsibility of Phuket Boat Charter 48

5. Weather and Itinerary

The captain has final authority over the route and itinerary based on:

• Weather and sea conditions
• Safety considerations
• Guest preferences (when safely possible)

If weather conditions require significant itinerary changes, we will work with you to find the best alternative experience.

6. Medical Conditions

Guests must inform us of any medical conditions, disabilities, or dietary requirements before the charter. We will do our best to accommodate special needs, but some conditions may affect eligibility for certain activities.

7. Insurance

All our yachts carry comprehensive liability insurance. However, we strongly recommend guests purchase their own travel insurance covering:

• Trip cancellation or interruption
• Medical emergencies and evacuation
• Personal belongings and valuables

8. Limitation of Liability

Phuket Boat Charter 48 acts as a booking agent between guests and yacht owners/operators. While we carefully vet all our partner vessels, our liability is limited to the charter fee paid. We are not liable for:

• Personal injury unless caused by our negligence
• Loss or damage to personal property
• Consequential losses or missed connections
• Force majeure events

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Phuket, Thailand.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. The terms in effect at the time of booking will apply to your charter.
